Always Remember Us This Way

When Michael and I saw this movie he was deeply moved.
He said this song made him think of me and I said I it reminded me of him. Here’s why... when I met Michael I was broken. I had hit rock bottom and had made a mess of my life. 
He held space for me to move forward and he helped me find my light within by simply loving me. He didn’t physically fix anything but he extended love to me and told me he believed in me. He was gentle and he was kind.  Love is that powerful, always remember that when you’re tempted by judgement, guilt, shame, blame or fear
This song was played at his mass yesterday. 
“You found the light in me that I couldn’t find”
And once I found my light I was able to help others find theirs.
