Donuts from heaven

On a day that I never wanted to experience ... two things happened that took me to opposite ends of the emotional spectrum. 
1. Our Christmas cards were delivered today... I looked at the photo and cried for our loss. I cried that Christmas will forever be different for many people who know and loved Michael. I can hold my gratitude for my Christmases with him in my heart.
2. One of my Christmas presents that sweet Michael ordered me was delivered shortly after the Christmas cards. My lance romance bought me donut scented air fresheners. This brought me to tears with laughter.... and it brought me to gratitude. I am so lucky to have known his unconditional, unending, all encompassing love. How lucky to have someone pay such close attention to every part of me, to know my sense of humor and to love me enough to seek out donut scented air fresheners. 
What a great way to head into celebrating this beautiful man’s life
