I am so overwhelmed with gratitude I could just cry. I am out of town for business and a holiday Christmas party and my girls are with their Dad. As he is juggling his career and the girls, he gets a call from school yesterday that our little Maddie is sick 😩😳. Oh no!!!!!
I start texting friends and then it hits me “Text Nana and our Aunties!”
I am so grateful that 11 years ago this amazing family from Elmwood Park was brought into my life and that they have adopted my girls and I into their big, crazy and fun Italian family. 
Nana went and got Maddie from school yesterday and loved her up until her Dad came home and Auntie Rosie has Maddie today at my house until I get home 💕
I can’t describe how good it feels to know she is in such loving hands until I get home. 
Every Mom out there knows the relief I am feeling. I also can’t properly articulate how grateful I feel to have this kind of deep connection and family like this. You guys never stop showing up for us in both gray and blue skies. Thank you for your unconditional love. I am eternally grateful.
