I am a Rainbows Kid...

I’m a rainbows kid 🌈 , yep that’s right. (I hope that statement doesn’t ruin their image 😂)
When I was 7 1/2 years old I lost my 16 year old brother. My parents put me into a program called Rainbows for all children, that helps kids through the grieving process. It is the first place I remember finding connection and light in my little world that had gone completely dark. Ahh... connection 🙏🏼 I learned much later in life that the connection I seek is always there within, but rainbows connected me with other kids who were navigating BIG feelings that were going on in a little person. They taught me how to cope with those emotions and normalized what I was going through. Today, I had the honor of being interviewed and was able to share about my experience with this amazing organization.
