Our return to Christmas
We came home from Denver on December 27th with heavy hearts. It’s back to our reality.
Except we came back to the most magical Christmas setting that I’ve ever seen. While we were gone Santa and his elves were busy making the girl’s Christmas amazing. Our house was decked with lights and decor. Candy canes hanging from light fixtures, tables wrapped like presents, lights strung on the mantle, and a tree overflowing with gifts. My girls were blown away by the magic of Christmas and I was blown away by the love, friendship, community and support. It was joyous to hear them excited and laughing as they have had some really sad days lately.
I am grateful for the love and support we are receiving as we navigate this difficult time.
I am grateful my girls get to see love shared between others and the love people had for Michal transferred onto us. He’s still leaving an impact on so many of us.
Thank you my friends for making this happen, thank you for letting me hear their laughter and for warming our home up for us. 😘
Maddie said this Santa note is “epic” and she will hold onto it forever ❤️🎅🏻
